We are a busy salon with clients requesting appointments and we do our best to accommodate everybody.  If you are unable to make your appointment or will be late, please let us know by phone or through our booking app.  We do not accept cancellations by email.

You can read our Cancellation Policy here.

Can I bring my dog?

We love your puppers and other friendly animals but, we are a salon for people, not puppers, so you will have to leave your furry friend at home when you visit us.

While we wish we didn’t have to discriminate against the better species, it is against health standards to have them in our treatment rooms and areas where services are being held. We also have to respect our clients, who may not be as comfortable around animals as we are.

*Service animals are an exception, however please let us know in advance so we can make proper arrangements.

You can read more in our Cancellation Policy here.

Lash Services FAQ

How are eyelash extensions applied?

Eyelash extensions are applied by bonding one eyelash extension to one natural lash.  We use one of the most advanced and safest eyelash extention technologies available, Liquifan, which uses a compound that dries instantly.

If you’ve experienced painful lashful extensions in the past, it was probably because your own lashes were glued together and grew out at different rates, leading to discomfort.  The instant cure system alleviates that problem.

Can I still wear mascara or use an eyelash curler?

Your new amplified eyelashes won’t need mascara, but should you want an extra boost you can apply washable mascara to the bottom lashes only.  We have found that adding mascara to your LiquiFan lashes is not only unnecessary but can pull at the individual lashes and weaken the bond to your natural lashes.  Waterproof mascara or any type of mascara that is oil based may also dissolve the bonding agent if your upper lashes are exposed.

We do not recommend using an eyelash curler as this can reduce the life of your eyelash extensions.

How do I care for my new Liquifan Lashes?

With the proper care your new lashes will look beautiful for up to three weeks.

You can view our recommended Liqufan Lash after-care tips here.

How long does the eyelash application procedure take?

A full set of Liquifan eyelash extensions takes approximately 2.5 hours to apply.  Unlike other systems, the Liquifan Lash system cures instantly so you do not have to wait 24 -48 hours before getting your lashes wet.

Eyelash fills range from 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the lash volume and drama you desire.

How do I prepare for an eyelash extension procedure?

Your advanced prepartion will speed up your service and improve the longevity of your eyelash extentions.

If you wear waterproof mascara, discontinue use 3 days prior to your appointment.

Arrive with a freshly cleaned face and avoid any oil-based products around the eyes.  Don’t wear makeup, remove your contacts and leave the earrings behind.  Wear comfortable clothing so you can fully relas; we have had guests fall asleep during the application.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to your appointment to fill out paperwork and consult with your technician.  Your lash technician will greet you, get you situated comfortably and then discuss the design you envision.

How long do eyelash extensions last?

Eyelash extensions can last 4 – 8 weeks, depending on how they are cared for.  Your own shedding cycle will determine how long your eyelash extensions last. Typically most clients come in every 2 – 3 weeks for maintenance.

Do eyelash extensions damage my lashes?

No, eyelash extensions will not effect your natural lashes as long as your extensions are applied by a professional,  Individual eyelash extensions are carefully applied to each natural lash slightly away from the lash line so the extension never touches your skin.  When your natural lash falls out, through natural shedding, the extension falls out with it.

Do not rub your eyes or pull your eyelash extensions as this can cause damage to your natural lashes.

How do you remove eyelash extensions?

We can safely and comfortably remove your eyelash extensions.  While extensions last for several weeks, you will notice that some of them are falling out as your natural lashes shed.  At the same time new lashes are growing in, which can make for an uneven look.  At this point you can come back for a fill or have the extensions removed.

While we recommend having your lash extensions professionally removed, you can remove eyelash extensions yourself.  First remove any makeup around your eye area then steam your face over hot water to soften the bond and encourage release of the extensions.  Next, dip a cotton ball or pad in coconut or olive oil and gently swipe along your lash line.  Follow with a good cleansing of the area to remove residual oil and then apply a moisturizer to nurture the skin and bring natural lashes back to their original state.

Nail Services FAQ

What's the difference between the different fill times?

Fill times reflect the weeks since you had your last nail fill completed.  We encourage you to come every two weeks to keep your nails healthy and beautiful.  Regular and timely nail maintenance will help prevent the  lifting and breakage that can lead to fungus or infections.

What are the different types of nail enhancements you provide?

While there are several different types of nail enhancements available we only use LCN, Light Concept Nails, at our salon.  LCN nails are free from harmful chemicals that damage your natural nails. The light-curing process used makes the nails flexibile and strong.  In fact, the LCN nail resin is a derivative of the dental resin used for filling in teeth.

LCN nails are easier to apply and to remove.  They are non-porous so they do not weaken the natural nail but rather protect them.  LCN nails are more durable than acrylic and won’t discolor over time resulting in a more natural appearance.

Can you add glitter or custom art to the nail enhancement?

We love glitter and custom art on nail enhancements.  Our nail technicians are artists at heart and are eager to turn your nails into stunning pieces of art or add a some glitter o make them pop.  Tell us your dream and watch us turn it into reality.

What are the different shapes of nail enhancements?

There are 12 general finger nail shapes and we can create all of them or other shapes – just show us what you want.  If you are not sure which shape works best with  your nail length and overall aesthetic, we can give you recommendations based on our years of experience and extensive training.

The most popular nai shapes are:

Natural, Square, Squoval, Almond, Oval and Rounded

Do nail enhancements damage my nail?

Some nail enhancements, such as acrylics,  can damage your nails over time.  We only use Light Concept Nails (LCN) which are safer because they are free of harmful chemicals that damage nails.  LCN nails are also easier to apply and remove.  Once cured, the LCN nail is non-porous and will not weaken your natural nails, but rather protect them.

What is a "pink & white" or "french" set of nail enhancements?

“Pink & White” or “French Tip” enhancements use two colors on the nail, one for the nail bed and another for the tip.  Traditionally the colors for a French Tip have been pink and white to create a polished and professional look that replicates the natural nail, but modern variations use other colors.  Ombre, a somewhat new variation, is growing in popularity and involves a gradual blending of the two colors.

How long do nail enhancements last?

Light Concept Nails (LCN) are longer lasting that most other nail enhancements.  When properly applied by a trained technician, LCN nails can last three to four weeks.

Waxing Services FAQ

If I just shaved, how long should I wait to have a waxing treatment?

Here are our recommended minimum time frames to wait post-shave before waxing.

  • Arms: 3 weeks
  • Brows/upper lip:  grow them out as long as possible
  • Chest/Stomach:  4 weeks
  • Legs:  6 weeks
  • Intimate areas:  3 weeks
  • Underarms:  2 weeks

What is a Brazilian Wax?

The Brazilian wax takes off every last hair on top, in the middle and in between your cheeks.  It is the complete removal of hair in the genital area leaving you clean and smooth.

Brazilian appointments are super fast, taking between 15 – 20 minutes to complete (depending on the amount of hair to be removed).  Fast is good – trust us on this one.

How should I prepare for my wax appointment?

The better prepped you are for your wax appointment the better the results will be.

  • Follow our recommended guidelines for minimum post-shave time to ensure we can get all the unwanted hair out.
  • If you are having an intimate wax and haven’t groomed in a while, trim with scissors.  Hairs that are longer than 1/2 ” can make the waxing session more uncomfortable.
  • The night before, exfoliate the area to be waxed to remove any build-up of dead skin cells.
  • If possible, take a warm shower prior to your appointment to open up your pores.
  • Wear loose comfortable clothing.
  • Avoid caffeinated beverages a few hours prior to your service so you are as calm and relaxed as possible.
  • Taking an over-the-counter pain reliever 45 minutes before your appointment can reduce inflammation and discomfort.
  • Inform your Wax Tech of any medical conditions, medications, anti-acne products or new tattoos or piercings.

How should I care for my wax treatment to prolong the results?

By following our recommendations you will get the most from your waxing appointment:

  • Prior to your appointment, follow our suggested steps to ensure the best results. (see FAQ above)
  • Do not shower or bath for at least 8 hours after your treatment and keep the area free of lotions and creams that can irritate the area.
  • Avoid tanning and sun exposure for at least 2 days after your appointment.
  • The day after your wax gently exfoliate with a dry brush to manually slough off the skin before showering.  Do this daily to prevent and treat ingrown hair.
  • Do NOT shave.  Shaving undoes all the wax training we’ve done with the hair to ensure it grows back finer and sparser.
  • Wax every 4 – 5 weeks to maintain your clean look and weaken the follicle to lessen hair regrowth.

When is waxing NOT an option?

We take your health, comfort level and safetly seriously. We will not wax you if:

  • You have an open wound or cold sore that we are not able to wax around.
  • You are currently taking a daily dose of Accutane or have been off Accutane for less than one year.
  • You are on blood thinning medications or have blood-related diseases such a hemophilia.

What should I expect during my Brazilian Wax appointment?

First, let us assure you, your comfort, safety and dignity are our top priorities.  If at any time you feel uncomfortable or awkward, let us know.

Your trained, licensed Wax Specialist will introduce herself, run through the paperwork and annswer your questions before beginning.  You will be shown to a private room where you will disrobe from the waist down,  Your specialist will clean the treatment area to remove any oils or lotions.  Next, a soothing pre-wax oil will be applied to protect your skin.  Warm wax is then applied to the treatment area and removed in a quick motion to pull the hair from the follicle.  Finally, your Wax Specialist will rejuvenate the area by gently applying our deluxe after-care products to help prevent ingrown hair and calm the skin.  After the appointment, your Wax Speciaist will also give you some home care tips.

Does a Brazilian Wax hurt?

The term we most often hear is “sting” to describe a Brazilian Wax.  It’s a bit like ripping a band-aid off quickly – the pain is short and temporary.  Our trained technicians use only the best hard and soft wax, and after-care products to ensure all unwanted hair is removed safely and as comfortably as possible.

How long before hair starts to grow back?

Everybody’s hair grows at a different rate so we can’t say for sure that a Brazilian Wax will last you a specified amount of tiime.  On average, most clients see minor outgrowth after about two weeks.  As you keep up a regular waxing schedule your hair will grow back much slower and finer.  You will be able to go longer between appointments and the appointments themselves will be quicker.
